UAE eVisa Document Requirements
The document requirements for a UAE eVisa depend on the visa type you select during the application process. Some documents are mandatory for all applicants, while others are required only for specific visa types.

Core Documents Required for All UAE eVisa Types
Passport Bio Page
Attach a full-page scan of a valid passport bio page of the applicant.
The passport must:
- Be valid for at least 6 months from your planned arrival date in the UAE.
- Clearly display the applicant’s photo, passport details and MRZ code.
What happens if my passport expires before travelling to the UAE?
You cannot travel to the UAE with an expired passport. If your passport is close to expiry or has already expired, you must renew it before departure.
Applicant Photo
Provide a clear, recent, and coloured photograph of the applicant.
The Applicant must:
- Face the camera directly with both eyes open and a closed mouth.
- Do not use a cropped, black and white and poor-quality photograph.
Can I wear a turban in the photograph?
Head coverings are only permitted for religious purposes and must leave the entire face, from the forehead to the chin, fully visible.
Additional Document Requirements based on the UAE eVisa Types
In addition to the above core documents, applicants must submit the following additional documents based on their selected eVisa type. Review the list below carefully for further details.
Visa Type:
- Long-Term Tourism Visa
Applicants applying for a long-term tourism visa must submit the following 3 documents.
Medical Insurance
A valid medical insurance policy, covering the entire duration of your stay in the UAE, is required to ensure adequate healthcare coverage throughout your trip.
The document must clearly show:
- Policy Holder name
- Policy Start and end date
- Minimum coverage
Bank Statement (Last 6 months with stamped USD 4,000 monthly income)
Upload a bank statement of the last 6 months, stamped by the bank, showing a monthly income of USD 4,000. It is required to demonstrate financial stability.
Travel Ticket
Attach a clear copy of a confirmed return or onward flight ticket verifying the applicant’s travel plans. Screenshots are not accepted.
What should it reflect?
- Traveller’s full name
- Ticket number
- Booking ID and arrival or departure dates
Visa Type:
- Special Visa Holders (14 Days)
- Special Visa Holders (60 Days)
Eligible applicants with a valid visa, residence permit, or Green Card from specified countries must submit one of the following documents:
Copy of Visa / Residency from Select Countries
Option 1: Valid Visa
Applicants holding a valid visa issued by any of the following countries must upload a clear copy of the same:
- United States
- Canada
- New Zealand
- Australia
- South Korea
- Singapore
- Japan
Option 2: Valid Residency / Green Card
Eligible applicants who hold a valid residency visa or Green Card issued by any of the following must upload a clear copy of their residence document:
- United States (Green Card)
- EU Residency Visa
- UK Residency Visa
Visa Type: Visa Virtual Work Residency Visa for Foreign Worker
The following 2 additional documents are required when applying for the UAE Virtual Work Residency Visa for Foreign Workers.
Virtual Work Proof -Outside UAE
A proof of virtual work or remote employment outside the UAE to verify the applicant’s active work status.
Salary Certificate (3500 Dollars) or equivalent in foreign currency
A salary certificate showing a minimum income of USD 3,500 or the equivalent amount in another foreign currency to ensure that remote workers can support themselves and maintain a basic standard of living while in the UAE.
For Visa Type: GCC Citizen Attendant Visa
When applying for a GCC Citizen Attendant Visa, submit clear copies of the following 2 listed additional documents:
Applicant GCC Residency (Under the Guarantor file of the Accompanier)
Upload a clear copy of both pages of the applicant’s valid residence permit in one of the Gulf Cooperation States under the guarantor file of the accompanier.
- Validity: It must not expire before your intended arrival and stay in the UAE.United States
It should clearly show details:
- Guarantor's name
- GCC country
- Residency permit number
- Occupation
- Expiry date
Identity Proof of the GCC Citizen
Submit a valid identity document of the GCC citizen whom the applicant will accompany. A digital copy of thier GCC passport or a National ID Card issued by a GCC member state is accepted.
The document must clearly display:
- Full name
- Photograph
- Passport or ID number
- Validity or expiry details

GCC consists of the following countries:
- Bahrain
- Kuwait
- Oman
- Qatar
- Saudi Arabia
How are UAE eVisa Documents submitted?
Step 1: Prepare all mandatory documents, fill out the application form, and upload them as required for your selected eVisa type.
Step 2: Pay the eVisa fee. Once approved, your eVisa will be sent directly to your email ID. Print a copy and carry it during your travel to the UAE.
How are UAE eVisa documents reviewed?
- All documents are checked for completeness and accuracy.
- If any additional documents are needed, the applicants will be contacted at their registered contact.
- Incomplete or inaccurate document submissions may delay processing your eVisa application.
